Driving Directions to Concord Academy

From the East, Northern New England, and North Shore Massachusetts

Follow Route 2 west from Interstate 95 / Route 128. Proceed to the second traffic light at the bottom of a long hill. Merge into the right lane and proceed straight through the intersection onto Cambridge Turnpike, following signs for Concord Center. At the first stop sign, bear left onto Lexington Road and continue into the center of Concord. Yield and bear left around the rotary onto Main Street, just after the large flagpole. Bear right at fork at Concord Free Public Library, continuing on Main Street. Concord Academy will be on your right.

From the West

Follow Interstate 90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) east to Exit 10 (Route 290). Continue on Route 290 east to Route 495 north. Follow Route 495 north to Route 2 east, then continue to the Concord rotary. Continue on Route 2 east to the second traffic light, merging into the left hand turn lane. Turn left onto Elm Street, following signs for Concord Center. At the first stop sign, bear left onto Main Street. Concord Academy will be on your right.

Parking

Free parking is available within walking distance on Main Street and in the public parking lot behind Middlesex Savings Bank. Parking on campus is not allowed.

Public Transportation to Concord

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) maintains regular rail service to Concord and points west from Boston and Cambridge via the Fitchburg line of the commuter rail system. The Concord Academy campus is a five-minute walk from the MBTA commuter rail stop in Concord (Walk two blocks north on Thoreau Street then turn right onto Main Street).
